Review:
John Merrick lives as a Rouge to his own kind. No one know he is still alive let alone building his own nest from those who are without a nest of their own. He wasn't planning to make his whereabouts know, but when some of the girls who have found shelter in his nest start disappearing he is left with no choice but to expose his existence to everyone including those who would have him dead.
Elise doesn't know whether to be relieved or angry at the betrayal she feels when confronted with her mate she thought dead for over 10 years. Showing up in free territory with all of the Archons, leaders of the Weresnake nests, to find the love she thought she had lost is hard to cope with. But she finds she must put her feelings for Merrick to the side as they work to find the missing girls and uncover the evil behind their loss.
As Elise and Merrick work together with the help of their nests and the others they find the opportunity to reconnect but whether there is enough love between them to move past the time apart is left to be seen.
I thoroughly enjoyed the world and the characters that Stella and Audra Price have created with ENTWINED BY FATE. It was refreshing to have a new take on shifters and the way they wrote of Weresnakes was sexy and intriguing. I am very much looking forward to more from this new series.
