On My Wishlist...

"On My Wishlist" is a weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City to share the books that we haven't bought yet but are waiting to be bought and devoured. Below are some of the books that I am looking forward to reading!

Excerpt:
The way the Glass House worked, on a practical level, was that there was a schedule for the stuff that had to be done. Cooking, cleaning, fixing things, laundry. Technically, they were all on every housemate's list. In practice, though, what happened was this: the boys (Michael and Shane) bribed the girls (Eve and Claire) to do laundry, and the girls bribed the boys to fix things.

Claire glared at her new iPod -- which was actually really nice -- and put it on random shuffle as she looked at the mess she'd made of her latest laundry effort. And there was the problem: she loved the hot pink iPod, which had been a heck of a good bribe, and she really didn't deserve it, because the laundry was ...

... also pink. Which would have been almost fine if it had been a load full of girls' underwear or something.

Not so much with guy clothes. She could not even imagine what kind of screaming that was going to bring.

Goodreads Description:

Drew Black, president of the SBC fighting organization, is as controversial as they come. But the hot-headed entrepreneur is a perfect match for his popular sports club venture: uncompromising and extreme. Maybe too extreme. With a reputation for saying what he thinks, Drew's been causing a lot of friction. That's why someone's been called in to clean up his image — before he does any permanent damage.

The lucky lady is Gillian Noode, a PR expert who's smoothed out the rough edges on many a man. But Drew is rougher than anyone she's ever met, and he refuses to change for any woman, for any reason. To make matters more complicated, Gillian's starting to like him raw. Now, opposites aren't only attracting - they're igniting. But in the rising heat, who will end up on top?

The first step in purchasing a refurbished fork lift truck should actually be quite the opposite and obtain several quotes for comparable machines but new. Obtaining the best possible price for the new truck you can and if you can include maintenance and services in the package. Create a timeline, perhaps 3 years, and cost the new truck over the full 3 years, you can even include the fuel, to give you a clear price level at which a new solution would cost. Now you have a level to compare your refurbished forktruck deals. When pricing the refurbished truck ensure you include the same level of maintenance and service as well as how your usage will affect the machine at a later part in its life cycle. You may find that you can source a flat fee maintenance and service contract which while may end up costing more, if nothing ever went wrong, but creates a firm costing for the time period you have selected. You can send the drivers for a course or you can hire an on-site instructor. Find your local Worksafe office to get information on the forklift licenses you need.
